Museum showcases production precautions

Defining the precautions in the process of making museum showcases can help us to better produce and ensure the quality of our products.

1. We must be clear about the purpose of the showcase design.

The function of the showcase is to better display the product, rather than ignoring the essence of the display and pursuing something that is not realistic.

2, The showcase should be designed with simplicity as the principle

On the one hand, we can save a lot of materials with simple design, and also save a lot of processing links; on the other hand, simplicity is also a popular trend of the times. In a limited time and space, it is critical that viewers and audiences get information on exhibits quickly and efficiently, and that strong interest is generated. Simple design can do this well.

3. Design and production of showcases from the perspective of the audience

From the perspective of others, thinking about the problem, the design and production of the showcase is the same. If the showcase design is too conservative, no one will appreciate it. Especially in the highly competitive exhibitions, the victory or not depends on the audiences preferences and reactions. If we can carry out creative design and processing based on the results of market research, the effect of the show is definitely optimistic.

Museum showcases lighting layout

Museum showcases lighting is usually a combination of lighting types with different functions, and different types of lighting can be used separately or together.

1. Basic lighting: mainly to provide high-brightness lighting to attract customers' eyeballs. Pay attention to your showcase in the mall. Ambient light uses scattering or secondary reflection lighting technology, using concealed, surface-mounted or hoisting lamps to achieve its Lighting effect.

2, Focus lighting: in order to emphasize or highlight the important display of the color, material, shape, etc., specially designed lighting, in the focus lighting, point lighting is used more often, usually used track lights, spotlights, etc. It is possible to control the projection angle and the illumination range. Use fluorescent lamps or spotlights to focus on the interior of the lighting showcase to achieve the function of highlighting key products. At the same time, the upper, lower or rear decorative panels of the display case can be made into a light-transmissive form to display the exhibits.

3, Decorative lighting: through some color dynamic changes and intelligent lighting control system, etc., in the part of the showcase environment to create some special lighting atmosphere, because the customer's vision in addition to being attracted by the bright counter, will also be colored lights Dynamic changes are attracted. This will enable our showcases to attract more customers in the shopping environment and increase product sales. Ambient decorative lighting mainly makes some different and special lighting effects on the background of the displayed items, the back of the cabinet and the surrounding areas. Ambient decorative lighting mainly uses LED lighting, fiber optic lighting and other new lighting technologies that can be intelligently controlled.

How to keep the museum showcases from fading?

1. To keep the museum showcases from fading, it is critical to choose high-quality paint. Of course, it is important to make the surface coating of the showcases not to change color for a long time. The quality of the paint is important. Secondly, the technology is also important when adding paint to the surface of the showcases. In short, the technology + quality is high. The paint is a magic weapon that keeps the paint on the surface of the showcases for a long time.

2. Relevant to the environment in which the showcases is located: Generally, the showcases are placed in public places such as shopping malls, specialty stores, shopping malls, and large department stores. The malls will install and open air-conditioning in every corner, if the showcases is placed. If it is just a cold air port, it will let the air-cooled water spray directly spray onto the surface of the showcases. This will take a long time, and the paint will not easily fall off if it does not fall off. Therefore, pay attention to the environment in which the showcases is located. The location of the good environmental space is also an important factor in maintaining the long-term discoloration of the surface coating of the showcases.

3. Avoid sun exposure. Sometimes, for special reasons, the showcases is directly moved from indoors to outdoors. In order to facilitate close contact with people, it is completely wrong to spend a long time in the hot sun. In order to showcases, try to avoid direct exposure of the showcases to the sun.

How to treat the safety of museum showcases

The museum is a display of history and art. It mainly displays objects and deeds about history or works of art with artistic and aesthetic values. The museum has always used the historical and cultural products collected and displayed in the museum. Through the display of the public, it has provided the public with historical and cultural education of appreciation and education, which has provided a historical process for the development of society.

The most important thing in the museum is the products and safety precautions exhibited. The historical and cultural products on display are the soul of the museum, and safety is the best guarantee for the existence of the museum.

Modern museum showcases have a certain physical stability and can withstand sufficient load-bearing. The museum showcase is for display, then the exhibits will be placed in the showcase. Since the general museum showcases will display different products, and some products are very large, you must find them when producing the showcase. Can bear a certain weight.

The materials used in the cabinets of the museum showcase must be sturdy and durable. The support plates of the showcase must be fixed. A fixed card can fix the showcase to make it secure. Because the general museum can be close to watch, sometimes visitors will touch or collide. If the museum showcase is not strong, if the visitors fall, it will most likely cause the showcase to rupture, thus affecting the exhibits in the showcase. Therefore, it must be ensured that the showcase will not cause harm to the audience and staff.

Museum showcases should be fireproof and burglarproof, which is the most important function of the showcase. Museum exhibitions are generally historical products or very valuable works of art, and the value is very expensive. Therefore, the museum showcase should have a strong anti-theft function. The general showcases are protected from theft by installing anti-theft glass, but as high-value exhibits, the anti-theft of the showcase is the ultimate, the fire alarms, vibration alarms and monitors in the showcase, and the police station can be connected. Safety equipment is the most effective safety precautions available today.

The latest trends in museum showcase development

The museum showcases has basically no fixed style in its shape and function, but as the manufacturer should understand the development trend of the times and the customers' love and needs, only by satisfying the needs of customers can the products be widely introduced to the market and get customers.

In the shape design of the showcases, it is no longer a single boring box exhibition. The simple and clear display cases is loved by many people. On the one hand, the simple display cabinet design can save costs, and at the same time, the processing cycle can be greatly shortened. On the other hand, simplicity is also a kind of beauty, and it is also a popular trend of the times.

The retro-style showcases can bring visitors' thoughts to the era of creation of cultural relics, arousing the curiosity of the visitors, making the visitors seem to return to the distant storyline, slowly pondering and savoring. In order to achieve the best results.

All in all, the museum showcases must adapt to the needs of the times, as well as the taste of the audience, in the production process, or accurately grasp the latest developments of the museum showcases.

Johnson & Johnson Pavilion - Beijing 2008 Olympics

Five pieces of The Terracotta Warriors from Emperor Qin Shihuang (Qin Dynasty: 221 to 206 BC) were exhibited during the Beijing Olympic Games 2008 at the Johnson & Johnson Olympic Exhibition Center in Olympic Park. These actual size genuine artifacts include a standing as well as a kneeling warrior figurine, two officers and a fully restored figurine which was originally in fragmented pieces.

Relicase designed and utilized all-glass frameless museum showcases, to match the overall style of the pavilion. Due to the large size of the display showcases and in consideration of the need for repeated use of these showcases, the showcases were made as detachable units. These showcases were also designed to bear the combined weight of the heavy artifacts as well as the workers and curators putting up this exhibition. After the Beijing Olympic Games, the showcases were donated to the Museum of The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Emperor Qin Shihuang. We also provided the services of detaching the showcases in Beijing and transporting them to Xi'an.

The mummified remains -- Xinjiang Institute of Archaeology

For conservation and the display of the mummified remains, Relicase having the international standard of quality museum showcases, also produce storage systems and display drawers for archival requirements. Our basic ideals of design and manufacturing are based on our vast experience from projects which we have completed successfully. These ideals have now become standard for ensuring our showcases are well-sealed, easy to open and operate, achieving high-security and allows both passive or active humidity control systems to be integrated. We manufacture strictly to the requirements of international museum conservation for cultural relics, combining both the aesthetic as well as functional properties of showcase design for each individual production brief.

Mummified remains are one of the most fragile organic matter under the conservation care for historical relics. Once they are unearthed from the ground, the remains will face difficult and challenging conservation environments before they are being transferred into the proper care of a specialized museum for final conservation, storage or display.

The actual location where the mummified remains is unearthed only serves temporarily as an interim storage measure. Once the mummified remains is exposed to air and environmental pollutants, careful and considered protection must be introduced immediately. Therefore, the entire process of conservation requires stringent long-term constant microclimate / humidity controls to protect this very fragile heritage relic before, during transportation and eventually to the laboratory and conservation storage or display at the museum.

Once the museum has prepared the mummy or mummified remains for exhibition, a technical team comprising of experts from the curatorial as well as conservation areas will then plan the move to the museum designated gallery space for display. One of the key challenges is the adaptation of lighting controls and exhibition ambient conditions. These challenges to conserve the Mummy in varied circumstances and the resulting relocations serves to highlight the many difficulties that our team had to encounter in completing this rewarding project.

How to maintain the museum display cases?

Themuseum display casesare used to display goods with a protective display stand, but it also needs to be maintained. How to maintain the museum display cases?
First, when wiping the showcases, it is best to wipe the display cases with a soft cloth that is absorbent, such as a towel, cotton, or flannel cloth, otherwise it may scratch the surface of showcases, which should be avoided as much as possible.
Second, Don't clean the dust on the surface of the showcases with a dry cloth. The dust consists of fibers, sand, and alumina. Many people clean the surface of the showcases with a dry cloth, but in fact, these fine particles can damage the surface paint of the display cases in the friction rubbing back and forth. Although these scratches are negligibly small and even the naked eye can't see it, but over time, it will cause the surface of the showcase looking pale and rough, and no longer shining.
Finally, Pay attention to prevent water from penetrating into the wood. If happened, it will cause moldy or local deformation of the wood and shorten the service life.

Museum display cases environmental protection new concept

With the growing awareness of environmental protection, the demand for various products and materials is getting higher and higher. The cultural heritage of museums and exhibits are particularly stringent for environmental protection due to their uniqueness and irreversibility.
The museum exhibitors also put forward new requirements, in addition to ensuring its basic anti-theft anti-explosion automatic opening and other intelligent human design, the material has no environmental pollution and new requirements, in order to be effective The durability of the exhibits is prevented.
Traditional museum display cases, in the process of replacement, are generally not easy to recycle and have been thrown away. This is a great waste of resources, so we need to do more at design time. Therefore, we need to consider more reusable aspects of the design, Therefore, we need to consider more reusable aspects of the design, reasonable consideration of the product structure and materials, even if the display cabinet product life is over, most of the components can still be recycled.
Based on this concept, We also integrates environmental protection and recyclability into the design process, uses more environmentally friendly materials, such as acid, in order to achieve zero in the exhibits. What we need to do is to put the appearance of the showcase on the premise of perfection, and focus on the invisible security and protection inside the showcase. This model has also been a concept. It will be a new trend in the development of showcases. All walks of life in the society are promoting environmental protection. We would like to be the most active part and contribute to the future development of the museum showcases.

Tianjin Museum Selected Rare Relics Exhibition

For new Tianjin Museum, Relicase providedmuseum display casesfor Exhibition of Selected Cultural Relics, Exhibition of Ancient Chinese Jades, Exhibition of Ming&Qing Dynasties Blue&White Porcelains from Museums Collection, Exhibition of Calligraphy Painting. Hereby we particularly present two 15m long documentstyle table cases to you.

The two exhibits, Birds View and Roll of Flowers on River, which could not be exhibited in the original museum due to the limitations of the exhibition facilities, were 17m and 13m long, respectively. The two table cases we designed allowed visitors to have a panoramic view of the two items in the Cultural Relics Display Hall of the new museum. The access opening of the case allows for the entire 15m long glass top to be lifted for the easy mounting or removing of the exhibit.

In addition, all the largewall display casesof the Tianjin Museum use the WHMI electronic opening system. The synchronization of the actuators and controls of the opening system was particularly critical. Any linear travel error exceeding 0.5mm in any of the lifting actuator devices would incur the risk of cracking. Our team used closed-loop detecting synchronous drive technology, which completely addressed this problem and ensured the safety of the cases.
